Research on the Role of Social Media in Kerala Tourism

This paper features the usage of social media in Kerala Tourism. Social media is one of the platforms through which tourism has grown unexpectedly. Through the development of the service industry, social media has been assisting to gather maximum responses from tourists and other sectors. It provides various platforms to different collaborators to exchange and communicate knowledge among them. This study comprises a two-way procedural approach; elementary and auxiliary as well. This elementary review concern with the collaborators, varied interviews, and auxiliary part is based on the current literature and portal of the Department of Tourism (DoT), Kerala. Through this paper, it will be showcased Kerala is a way ahead in Social media. This paper’s objective is to examine the social media strategies embraced by the Kerala Tourism Board in an effective way. It further offers an improved outline of tourists’ use of social media and their features in order to adapt online promotional strategies by Kerala tourism.
