The current paper examines film-induced tourism in Malayalam cinema and how it helps destination promotion in Kerala. Here we select three films and analyze how those films promote tourist destinations. The films selected are 1. Ordinary, 2. Charlie, 3. Kumbhalanghi Nights. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 respondents to find out the influence of each cinema in promoting the image of tourist destinations. The findings of the study implied that there is a significant positive relation between film-induced tourism and destination promotion in Kerala.
