 The primary objective of this research is to explore the effects, consequences, and implications of flash strikes (hartal) in tourism. This mini case study in the context of Kerala tourism critically evaluates the political extremism, which directly or indirectly causes the quality of life of people. To attain this goal, the researchers conducted a study on the narrations about flash strikes in ‘Trip Advisor’ and from ‘Say No to Hartal Movement’ of the last three years. Based on the findings of the study, the need for emphasizing in finding alternative choices or solutions for this social issue is inevitable.
