Editor’s Profile:

Dr. Srabani Roy Maiti teaches in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication in Kidderpore College, Kolkata, as an Assistant Professor and Head. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience having a Ph.D. in the University of Burdwan in Santali communication. Her areas of research are folk and tribal communication, development communication, and political communication and media studies. She has written papers in international, national conferences, published in known journals, has written chapters in edited books, and delivered lectures at different academic forums. She has also organized significant academia conferences such as an international conference on artificial intelligence and mass media sponsored by ICSSR.
